Through 1-1 and Group Coaching, we’ve helped L&D professionals re-think how they add value, prioritise, lead themselves and promote coaching; focusing on the responsibilities and accountabilities that are ours to own, making our value to the organisation more obvious and less expendable.
Since then, L&D began to spread the news; and now we support L&D, People, HR and Organisational Leaders to rethink Vision, Purpose, Performance, Results, Coaching and Leadership development, through the power of coaching; because the real impact is not in the bespoke content, it’s in the bespoke conversations.
I have over 20 years’ experience in Senior Leadership roles within People, L&D and Leadership Development teams, spanning organisations such as the NHS, TalkTalk and Sky.
Everything changed for me when I became a first-time leader of people within an L&D function; a shift I was ready for, but not prepared for. My mistake?... Thinking I had to have all the answers to all the training orders and project priorities; which led to considerable self-doubt and pressure.
My epiphany came through leadership coaching; coaching that helped me realise that my job wasn’t to be the hero; but to guide, develop and coach others towards their own answers, both within my own team, and with the stakeholders and consultants I served.
